Hi, I’m Yejoon, a former research assistant at the Virtual Embodiment Lab at Cornell University, where I worked under the supervision of Andrea Stevenson Won and led several first-author projects. I earned my Master's in Information Science from Cornell in 2023 and my Bachelor's in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design in 2022.
My research investigates Human–AI Interaction, focusing on LLM-powered conversational agents and immersive simulations. As AI and interactive technologies become deeply integrated into daily life, I aim to design AI systems that act as companions in learning and communication, adapting to people’s needs, supporting collaboration, and fostering personal growth. I approach this research through:
Previously, I worked at RippleAI, where I designed AI products for video analysis and highlight extraction, and at Softberry, where I designed new electric vehicle map interactions to enhance user experience.
